Well, Riley and Charlotte's 6th Birthday Party has been and gone.... and we've finally recovered!! Such a lot of effort put in by myself and the hubby for a two hour party but it was all worth it. Here's some happy snaps of the fantastic day...
The Birthday Girls
The table set-up
(the party was a High Tea)
The Decorations hanging over the table
(I made these myself but if you're not a crafty person, you can buy them here)
The Party Food
(fruit and lolly kebabs)
(mini cupcakes)
(sushi sandwiches)
(jelly cups)
and of course the Teapot Cake
Here's the cookies I baked for the party bags
the contents of the party bags
and the party bags ready to go
It was such a fun day and wonderful for a change that it was all about the kids rather than keeping the adults entertained/fed all day!
Oh, and one last photo. My gorgeous Harry who had a lovely time with all the girls!!
Beautiful Christine! Lots of inspiration there for my girls' next birthday parties. Don't think I'll be attempting a tea pot cake though....
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. What games did you end up playing?
ReplyDeleteit looks wonderful!! i made a few of those tissue balls for a tea party that i put on for my adult friend and i am never taking them down, they make everyday feel like a tea party!
ReplyDeleteyour girls are very lucky to have you.
xx
Awwww, it looks like your girls had a fabulous day!! =)
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable party. It is such a lot of effort, but I think that's part of the fun. I bet the kids had an amazing time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great looking birthday party! I can't wait until my little one is ready for tea parties and high teas! Especially once she's old enough to trust her with my Shinzi Katoh tea set! Hmmm... now I think about that... I don't even trust my hubby with that tea set...
